I think one of the critical things to my running (other than a pair of good running shoes and a supportive bra) is the tunes I listen to when on the road. I've tried running without music but have found that good music not only helps pump me up, but the rhythm actually helps me control my breathing. That's kinda important when running.
I've developed a few playlists over the last couple of years that I've run. At the end of each year I do a "Best of the year" playlist and I also have a "Zombie" playlist made up of songs dealing with zombies, ghosts, vampires, and other things that go bump in the night. Recently I've realized that I need to shake things up and create a new playlist. The songs I've chosen could be described as a little retro, sassy, flirty, possibly even lascivious, but most of all they are fun (even if they don't have super fast beats). Below I am listing the song, artist, and album as well as I will try to link to the song on youtube if it is available so you can hear what I am listening to. Hope you enjoy.
